UC Merced does not currently offer graduate degrees in Anthropology.

Potential graduate students (both MA and PhD) with interests in anthropology, however, can apply to the individualized graduate program at UC Merced with an emphasis in either the World Cultures or Social and Cognitive Sciences. In either program, anthropologically oriented students are expected to take diverse courses, oftentimes outside of anthropology, in keeping with the interdisciplinary nature of these programs.
